Mathias Grassow

Cnosti_Mathias.jpg Creation Mathias Grassowa has a strong spiritual dimension  and linked it with his musical and spiritual development, which is close to the Indian yoga sound (nada yoga) and tools  in which he played - tánpúra, zither, Tibetan bowls, overtone singing. Furthermore, it is under influence of path of Buddhism, Sufism, Christian mysticism, but also inspired by the Celts and Vikings. His music is mostly developed in a time of longer songs, which, while they are played on a cool electronic instruments and have a strong emotional, heart-warming effect of a spiritual dimension.

Mathias answered us on following questions during the project VIRTUES:
1. Can you tell what is a virtue?
2. Do you know a virtue, it would be good just to live today?
3. How practical is this virtue reflected in everyday life?
4. How do you imagine the good life?
5. Can we live a good life without virtue?
6. Can you name someone who lives one, you mentioned, a virtue?

1. Yes indeed. But I need VIRTUE a bit more specified. Everyone has virtues in his life and aim ...

2. Yes: I think the best daily virtues are found in the buddhist way of the 8 paths ! I specially like the way of the heart' ...

3. Daily in meditation, self-reflection, music and life practice.

4. That depends upon the personal way to follow. Everyone has a special task in his life and if you try to find your way, by full respect of man and nature - you will be on the right path.

5.) Strange question. For e.g. a political 'right wing' person THINKS that his way is the best for all - so this is a personal VIRTUE for him to follow this strange thoughts. So again I believe, that no personal way is wrong - as long as it doesn't injure the life of mankind an nature!
